Jeff Hanson is the owner and lead technician of Austin Sliding Door Repair, proudly serving Austin, TX and surrounding areas including Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Pflugerville, Lakeway, Bee Cave, Georgetown, and Dripping Springs.
With over 25 years of hands-on experience, Jeff specializes exclusively in sliding glass door repair, window hardware repair, roller replacement, track repair, and OEM hardware sourcing.
He has worked in the door and window industry since 1997 and is known for delivering long-term, manufacturer-correct repairs—not temporary fixes.
Jeff began his career through a formal apprenticeship with a large multi-state door and window company, gaining experience in custom doors, windows, trim carpentry, hardware installation, and high-end residential construction. After college, he worked in San Diego, California, servicing luxury custom homes and later joined a specialized sliding glass door repair company focused on complex multi-slide and high-end door systems.
In 2011, Jeff founded On Track Sliding Door Repair, building a business centered on precision workmanship, premium parts, and direct homeowner service. After relocating to Austin, Texas, Jeff recognized a major gap in the market: homeowners lacked access to a true sliding door repair specialist who could properly diagnose issues and source OEM, AAMA-certified parts.
Unlike general glass companies or handyman services, Jeff maintains direct relationships with original equipment manufacturers, allowing him to source hard-to-find and obsolete hardware not available online or at hardware stores. This ensures repairs are done correctly and last for years—not just months.
